Jesse Grimes

Jesse is a senior-level service designer and user experience consultant, with sixteen years of international experience applying user centred design approaches to a broad range of projects and platforms. Working since 2008 as a service designer, he has specific experience in team leadership, innovation and concepting, customer journeys, user research, cross-channel service design, service design training and design strategy.

Jesse joined Dutch consultancy Informaat in 2008 to launch its service design practice. Since then he has worked with some of the largest private-sector companies and public-sector organizations in the Netherlands, applying service design practices and techniques to a range of challenges. Jesse spent two years applying his service design and customer journey expertise within client Rabobank, and has also worked alongside Informaat content strategist colleagues at ING.

Jesse is active in both the Dutch as well as the global service design communities, and regularly hosts and speaks at events, and trains others in service design techniques. He’s co-organizing the SDN’s 2016 Global Conference in Amsterdam.
