Merijn Neeleman is obsessed with giving High-Tech a human face. Already during his graduation project at PHILIPS he experienced that this requires deeply investigating the users and covering the full ecosystem to truly serve their needs. After graduating cum-laude at TU Delft (Industrial Design) in 2001, he put the same passion in practice at OCÉ. First as Interaction Designer, later as Head of Product- and Service Research. After the merge with CANON, Merijn became the Global Head of Design for professional printing systems, leading a team of 25+ design professionals throughout many different R&D sites and cultures. In his current role as the Portfolio Developer of ULTIMAKER he will put his passion in creating a strong ecosystem for 3D printing, aiming to disclose it to a larger audience.
